Dr. Christoforos G. Loizides was born in 1983 in Nicosia.
He graduated from the 1st Lyceum of Paphos in 2001. Upon completing his military service in 2003, he continued his studies in Greece where he graduated from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with degree of “magna cum laude” in 2009. After obtaining his degree in Medicine he served as House Officer Doctor in Paphos General Hospital (2009-2010) and trained as a Resident Doctor in Internal Medicine in Limassol General Hospital (2010-2012). He trained as a Resident Doctor and specialized in Dermatology-Venereology in Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) during 2012-2015, where he gained valuable experience in diagnosis and management of patients with skin and venereal diseases, dermatosurgery, lasers and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Loizides is a board-certified Dermatologist-Venereologist with longstanding experience and extensive clinical work offering competent advice and treatment in skin and venereal diseases. Since 2016 he runs a private practice in Greece (Athens) and Cyprus (Paphos).
His areas of expertise in clinical and surgical dermatovenereology practice include but are not limited to: inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, dermatitis and rashes, skin infections, hair disorders, alopecia and genetic analysis of hair loss, nail abnormalities, hyperhidrosis, autoimmune skin diseases, pigmentation disorders, routine skin cancer screenings and evaluation of moles, benign and malignant skin growths, actinic keratoses, melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, anogenital area lesions and sexually transmitted diseases. He provides consultation and performs a range of minimally invasive, non-surgical aesthetic procedures designed and customized to answer all cosmetic concerns restoring skin health and natural beauty. His facets of practice in cosmetic dermatology include combination protocols of mesotherapy, PRP, neuromodulation with botulinum toxin, collagen induction therapy (CIT) and skin needling, chemical peels, soft tissue fillers, skin injectables, facial rhytides and neck rejuvenation, anti-aging modalities, dermabrasion, pigmentation and melasma intervention, cellulite reduction and lipolysis, scar and hair loss improvement, intimate area rejuvenation and ablative and non-ablative laser treatments.
Dr. Loizides is a member of the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology (HSDV) and European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV). He regularly attends the most important Greek and International medical and academic conferences and participates in clinical studies and investigative protocols in Europe.
Since 2018 Dr. Loizides is an official ambassador of Bioderma Laboratoire Dermatologique in Cyprus and Greece, promoting respect and commitment for healthy skin.
