Dr Maor Lavah, MD, is a highly esteemed gastroenterologist included in Forbes’ list of the “Best Doctors in Israel.” He currently heads the Interventional Endoscopy Unit at Sheba Medical Center and serves as a leading specialist at Assuta Medical Center. Additionally, Dr Lehav now works with WeCare Medical Centre, providing telemedicine services for second opinion consultations and further treatments.

Dr Lavah’s specializations include the treatment of Barrett esophagus by radiofrequency ablation, endoscopic bariatric surgery, double balloon enteroscopy, endoscopic excision within the submucosal layer, and endoscopic mucosal resection. He received his Medical Doctor degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, completed his residency in Gastroenterology at Sheba Medical Center (Tel Hashomer), and pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in the USA.

Fluent in Hebrew and English, Dr Lavah brings over 20 years of clinical experience to his practice. He has authored numerous scientific articles and publications and actively participates in both Israeli and international conferences. Dr Lavah is also a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the Israel Gastroenterology Association.
