Dr Mohammed Anabtawi, PhD
Chemist, Nutritionist, Herbalist
Dr Anabtawi was born in Lebanon in 1954. After completing his BSC in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut, he traveled to Wales where he earned his Diploma, MSC, and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wales. In 2014, he also completed a financial planning Diploma accredited by the CII.
After retiring in 2017, Dr Anabtawi decided to continue his education. Recognizing that his age could bring potential health issues, he delved into becoming a nutritionist and herbalist, driven by his strong belief in natural (“alternative”) medicine. His extensive and globally renowned research background, coupled with an unwavering desire to learn, led him to seek solutions for classic medical issues such as arthritis, psoriasis, PMS, and hormone imbalance.
In 2019, a significant breakthrough occurred with the creation of powerful anti-inflammatory capsules, which laid the foundation for his UK-based company, Strength & Spices Ltd. Collaborating with his daughter, Hadeel, who was based in Cyprus, they established a sister company on the island.
Within three months of launching on Amazon UK, their entirely natural supplement earned the distinction of Amazon’s Choice. The product maintains its esteemed status three years later.
Subsequently, the company attained ISO 22000:2018 certification, underscoring their unwavering commitment to rigorous quality standards.
Their product line of 12 items was developed out of personal necessity, designed to address the underlying causes of issues rather than just symptoms. In 2020, a potent partnership was forged with a leading German company, capitalizing on their scientific, non-invasive approach to test vitamin and mineral deficiencies through electro-acupuncture technology. This unparalleled collaboration empowered Strength & Spices to devise personalized supplement solutions, precisely tailored to each individual’s needs.
During the summer of 2023, Dr Anabtawi, based in London, UK, joined WeCare in a consulting capacity, welcoming appointments during his business trips to Cyprus
